front units use both a compact visual display unit mounted on the dashboard
inside the vehicle, as well as an audible beeper. The detection zones
for the front units start at 30cm from the front bumper and go out to
90cm. The visual display unit shows bars coming together as the front
bumper nears an obstacle and each detection zone is reached (90cm, 75cm,
